Conspiracies of disunited opposition will not harm government: Chohan

Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has said that conspiracies of disunited opposition parties will not harm the government.

In a statement, Chohan said that opposition parties are trying to fool the masses once again.

Referring to the meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President, he said that a person, who failed win elections, is now leading opposition.

“It is shocking to appoint JUI-F Chief as head of opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) as he didn’t even win elections. He has always compromised principles while doing politics,” he said.

Chohan also claimed that Maulana helped in clearing the way for Nawaz Sharif’s travel abroad by his Azadi March. “Now we have yet to see the outcome of ‘Maulana-PML-M nexus’, he said.

Criticizing Maryam Nawaz, he said that ‘M-league’ is ruining the party.

“Decisions of Begum Safdar Awan have always caused problems for PML-N. It is strange that opposition is worried about public after losing power,” he added.

Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan further said that people have immense confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

“The conspiracies of the non-aligned opposition can do no harm to the present government,” he said.
