FM discusses bilateral ties UAE counterpart


Islamabad: Foreign Minster Shah Mahmood Qureshi has discussed bilateral relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) counterpart Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to details, Shah Mehmood Qureshi in a telephonic conversation with Abdullah bin Zayed, said that millions of Pakistanis living in the UAE have been contributing to the development and progress of the country for the last many decades.

FM further stated that Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) enjoy historic, deep and fraternal ties.

“The two brotherly countries have stood by each other in difficult times including dealing with coronavirus pandemic,” Qureshi said.

Both sides agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in the economic and trade sectors.

They also discussed issues of mutual interest including overall situation in the region.
