Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz PML-N vice President Maryam Nawaz said that opposition parties have made alliance to defend the sanctity of vote and constitution.
Talking to media along with Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, she said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement will fight against inflation and lawlessness in the country.
She said that economy of the country has collpased due to the incompetent government. She said that the government is in pressure even the PDM has not started holding rallies.
She said that Nawaz Sharif was labelled as traitor when he raised objection over the transparency of the polls.
Responding to government’s criticism on Nawaz Sharif’s aggressive tone, she said that India went happy where there is no rule of law in Pakistan.
She said that Fazlur Rehman will attend the public gathering in Gujranwala on October 16, adding that she will also invite PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Maryam warned against used of institutions against the oppostion’s rallies. She said that no more chance will be given to this government. She added that incumbent governemnt is standing on crutches.
She said that no one can snatch the right of electing their representatives from public as Allah Almighty has bestowed this right on people.
Maryam said that public will decide who will be their Quaid, representatives and prime minister.
Now it will be decided that public will take decision about the country, he added.
Lashing out at the incumbent government over making lives of common people difficult, he said that economy has been damaged while worst inflation has hit the country.
Foreign policy of the government has collapsed, she said, adding: “We have reached a point that a treason case has been registered against Azad Jammu and Kashmir prime minister”.
The PML-N leader said that public is now looking at the PDM to get rid of this selected government.
Fazlur Rehman talking to media said that the incumbent government came into power through massive poll rigging.
People are forced to end their lives due to inflation and unemployment, he said, adding that economy has collapsed.
